Every one of you has a writer inside you that wants to be recognized, rewarded and praised. Some write to impress, some write to earn and some for fun. We invite you all to be a part of this great venture where you will be given many chances to test your writing skills by competing with many other writers.
HOW TO PARTICIPATE
When you register with United Tales, you are required to take a small introductory test to be able to use the app and participate in the contests.
Steps to participate:
1. On the Contests page, you can find the list of contests along with their entry fee and deadline to submit the entries.
2. You can select any contest which you want to participate in. You can participate in multiple contests too. But you cannot participate in the same contest more than once.
3. Once you select a contest, you can see various details of the contest such as description, entry fee, minimum participation etc.
4. You can join the contest. You have to pay the designated entry fee to take part in the contest.
5. Once the payment is done and successful, you can submit your entry/writing in accordance to the rules of the contest.
6. You can either type your content on the editor provided in the application, or you can upload a file (only .pdf, .doc, .docx, .rtf are supported) of a valid format. You cannot use both the options to submit your content. You can either submit using the editor or you can upload a file but not both. You can submit once you are satisfied with your content.
Other rules:
1. User will be scored on the basis of Grammar, Vocabulary and Content.
2. We suggest you to refrain yourself from using abusive content, as there is negative marking for the same.
3. User needs to take care of things like word limit, number of lines etc. (if any) given in the description of the contest. Any violation of the rule can either disqualify you or can impact your scores.
4. We strongly oppose plagiarism. Hence, we will not entertain any plagiarized content.
5. Once submitted, the entry cannot be edited or re-submitted and will be considered as final entry.
6. If you pay the contest fees, you need to submit the content within deadline of the contest. If you fail to do so, that is if you pay the entry fee but you don’t submit the content prior to the deadline, you will be considered disqualified and no refund shall be entertained in such an event.
